Joseph gets a haircut

Mommy and Daddy took Joseph for a haircut to a really neat place. They had a firetruck you could sit in to get your hair cut!!
When they want you to look down, they drop a toy in at your feet - pretty tricky.
My Daddy is cool. He got to see me in the firetruck!
Here I am driving. I am a very serious driver.
OK, I'm done. I really look sharp. I'm just sad that I have to leave the firetruck soon...

While Poppa was away at work, Mom-mom got to spend time with the family. They had a great time. Here are a few special pictures.

Hannah Katherine comes home

Hannah looks so tiny in her car seat.
She is a good sleeper. In fact, it was hard to get a picture of her with her eyes open.
Daddy loves his little girl.
Sometimes it takes two to curb J's enthusiasm.

Mom-mom and Poppa visit Hannah

We weren't quick enough to get there before Hannah was born. Poppa had to fly home to pick up Mom-mom. Then they couldn't get a flight to Atlanta and decided to drive. Hannah was born before they even left!
But they arrived by noon the next day after sleeping at Uncle Rick and Aunt Monica's house in SC. Now they have two grandbabies in Georgia to love!
Poppa got almost enough time holding Hannah...
and had his hands full with Joseph trying to touch all of Hannah's features, especially her eyes!

Hannah Katherine is born

Hannah Katherine was born on June 19, 2008 at 3:35 pm. This is grandbaby number two of 3 for this summer! She is beautiful! She has dark hair like her cousin Ava. She was 7 lbs 5 oz and 18 inches long.

Joseph was very interested in his new sister. He calls her "Baby" or sometimes "Deuce," his Daddy's pet name for her before she was born.















What a precious, beautiful baby she is!

Matthew gets married

We were very pleased to be invited to Mathew and Amy's wedding at Notre Dame. Father Scott performed the ceremony. It was beautiful!

Father Scott had a moving homily. Without notes, of course.

We rested after dancing all evening.






It was wonderful to spend the weekend with their family. What a terrific time!
