Welcome and About Us

Welcome to our blog!

We live in Maryland, although we have also lived in Mississippi, where C was born, and in Virginia and New York. Some day we will probably move once more to live near our kids and grandchildren. But they are not ready to settle down and we are not yet ready to retire.

We decided that a blog would be a good way to keep our family up with our adventures, our trips and our thoughts. Our primary interests are family, friends, boating, and travel. But we get involved in fundraising for the Naval Academy and various charities. We are strongly independent in our political feelings, and we enjoy discussions of current events.

Whether or not this blog gets involved in discussions such as this will depend upon how energized we get with it. We will have to see.
