Our Visit to Oregon

The first day we were in Oregon, Kara, Brandon, David and Joyce drove down from Washington and we went into downtown to look around and have lunch. We decided to go to Mother's Bistro, where we got a table in the back and had a very nice lunch.
While we were at lunch, Kim and Andrew gave Mom-mom and Poppa their anniversary present. And what a wonderful present it was!! At first Mom-mom thought it was just a nice picture of Kim, but she caught on after Poppa suggested that she read it... :)

Kim and Andrew

Of course we spent some time at Kim and Andrew's beautiful home.
A great picture of father and son.

I like it when you play with me, Aunt Kim!

We took the dogs to a big park to play. Andrew and Brandon can really throw far! Brandon was throwing a make-believe duck and we think that he could throw it a mile. Raleigh loved chasing tennis balls. After a while, Emma and Ike joined her and tried to beat her to the balls. Raleigh is pretty quick though. In the meantime, Joseph took a quick nap in the car with Mom-mom taking care of him.
Raleigh, Ike and Emma loved it!

Rest time for Ike and Emma.

The next day, we decided to drive up to Washington to take a hike. Everyone dressed warmly, because it was chilly. It was a beautiful drive and a fantastic hike!
This is one of the views on the way up.

Good day for a hike.

What beautiful scenery

It was a fantastic, cool day for a hike.

What a beautiful location!

Beautiful scenery, again.

Hugging the trail...

Back at Kim and Andrew's house. Wow Mom-mom, what a neat book! And you make such fun sound effects!

I love it when you read to me!
